Lynn Paulella Beard,
Executive Director
Acting/Vocal Instruction
Lynn Paulella Beard is a graduate of New York University
with a Master of Arts
in Vocal Performance with an emphasis on Musical Theatre
studies. Ms Paulella
has a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Western
Connecticut State
University. She has continued Drama studies at University of
Cincinnati/Conservatory
of Music. Theatre and Film studies at the New England Actors
Theatre, Weist-Barron, TVI Actors Studio and Singers Forum in New York
City. Lynn’s many
stage credits include: The King and I (Anna), Jekyll and
Hyde (Lucy), Phantom
(Christine), Nine (Luisa), Quilters, Pirates of Penzance
(Kate), All Night Strut,
Savage in Limbo (Savage), Happy Journey (Beulah), A
Christmas Carol,
The Vagina Monologues, Sweet Love…a Shakespeare Collage.
Lynn Paulella has
worked in commercials and film as well as commercial print.
Her directorial credits
include: Funny Thing Happened on The Way to the Forum, Last
Night of Ballyhoo
and Lost in Yonkers. She has maintained an active voice and
acting studio for over
14 years and is a member of the National Association for
Teachers of Singing (NATS),
Music Educators National Conference (MENC) and American
Orff-Schulwerk
Association (AOSA). Continued teaching experience as an
adjunct at WCSU Theatre
Dept., Drama Teacher at Augusta Preparatory Day School,
Vocal Coach for principles
and ensemble for productions at Brookfield and Danbury High
School. Lynn is a registered Music Together teacher and
co-director of Music Together of Brookfield.
