Ali Froman,
Music Together and Feldenkrais
Method®Ali Froman, brings a rich background to her Feldenkrais
Method work. She has twelve years of dance training
including ballet, modern, jazz and ballroom. Ms Froman
studied at Alvin Ailey American Dance School and the
American Ballet Theatre School in NYC as well as in
Westchester County, NY.
She studied in the Professional Theatre Training Program at
SUNY Purchase in Purchase, NY. Her work there included:
acting, voice, speech and movement for the stage. The
healing arts have become her interest which brought her to
The Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in NYC. After 16
years in the field of Massage Therapy, Ali decided to effect
a greater change in her clients’ wellbeing. With research
and study for an adjunctive therapy to further assist her
clients; she found the Feldenkrais Method greatly informed
her work. She looks forward to sharing this method and it’s
insights with those artists who are interested in deepening
and expanding their understanding of how they move. Through
the Feldenkrais Method, students can increase their ease and
range of motion, improve their flexibility and coordination
and rediscover their innate capacity for graceful efficient
movement. Ali is a member of the Feldenkrais Guild of North
America as well as the American Massage Therapy Association.
She is a Music Together Instructor in Fairfield County. Ali
Froman has studied acting privately with Phil Gushee in NYC.
She studied Linklater Technique for the stage with Elizabeth
Himmelstein at the Roundabout Theatre Company.
