Jennie Ward,
Acting/DirectingJennie Ward has directed in New York, Boston, and
Chicago. Past
productions include Marivaux’s Changes of Heart (Le Double
Inconstance); Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale; Ostrovsky’s
The Storm;
Chekhov’s The Seagull; Maria Irene Fornes’ Fefu and Her
Friends; and a
stage adaptation of Graham Greene’s novel, Travels With My
Aunt. Jennie
was the Robert Moss Directing Resident at Playwrights
Horizons for the
1999-2000 season. She has taught and directed students at
several
universities, including Bard College; she has studied and
directed in
Russia; and she has assisted off-Broadway and regionally.
She is a
member of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, and earned her
MFA in
Directing from the American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art
Theatre
School’s Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard
University.
